Even though this is always a slower time of year, check the Sports picks forums like the baseball section and you'll see that it's not dead
The Sports Forums have always been where the most action is at TheRx.
Evidence that there's many more serious cappers here vs other sites where most post mainly in Offshore section which may give some the false impression that they have more activity when it's far from the truth.
Post your NFL or NCAA Plays, for example, on a Saturday night, or early Sunday Morning, and your thread will be pushed back 5,6,7 pages where certain sites will be lucky to fill their first page with posters-picks...
I love ya Hache, but you're wrong our MLB thread is a ghost town, compared to the "Dark Side"!! We're a LONG way from foots!
I give you that this is No Football season... But I just took a look at the "Darkside"
and went page for page for Active Threads.
* A reminder, this is not a penis contest. But, they had 2.5 pages of Active threads in their Baseball section and the RX had 2.25 pages
So I think it's Far from being a Ghost Town here.
That's comparing "Kiddie land" with the RX. If you talk about the Others, they can't compare at all.
To tell you the truth, activity has been slightly Up here at the RX this year compared to last year. That goes for this time of the year as well.
Talking about Football..... We came close to hitting our all time high of the Most users ever online..... 10,046, back on 11-22-2009
Five times this past season we misssed by 87, 83, 77, 75 and 63 people
in the other weeks we only missed by a couple of 100's
Now if you guys want to talk about Old Time Posters... That's another subject.
Some have retired, some have just moved on.
"Kiddie Land" has plenty of Kids... some have even come here. But if they Don't follow the rules, we Don't want them here.
I Don't feel the need to make this the Wild Wild West.
Just My 2 cents (<)<
I dont know anything but what ive picked up over the years but what ive always understood is that most sites with a lot of banners are not paid to put them up but are paid by the number of people who use the links to signup with a book. At the R/X a site has to actually pay money to be listed above. That would certainly explain y you can have 10 banners at other sites and only 3 or 4 here.
That doesnt apply ofcourse to the poker forum where we have at least 4 listings of rooms that have been out of business for over a year and i just cant get anybody to clean them up, those are obviously click ads and somehow they must think that these defunct companies are gonna send them a check 1 day....
