Dodgers pitching was great in series vs Milw...

Billingsley, Cap and Harang all pitched great. Guerra blew a save but looked like he lost no confidence as he went right after hitters today. Wright looked lights out today, starting to wonder if he could step up. I'm very happy about Dodger pitching this season.. Kershaw has yet to win a game and the Dodgers are 10-3...

Hairston played great defense on 3rd.. I wouldnt mind if he was the everyday 3rd baseman. Lots of ulitity guys so Dodgers have depth.

Lily's style doesnt fit too well at minute maid park.. hes a flyball guy..

Bosox: 3pm start vs the yanks..Big celebrations happening to day for the 100th aniv. of Fenway..Buchholz vs nova, both of which have been average at best.. The Bobby V shit has started( although a bit earlier than I thought..but today is about Fenway. The weather is going to be great with 10-20MPH WINDS OUT TO LEFT!..THis, along with 2 potent lineups points to the over..I have a small lean toward Boston, but i really like the over here.....gl!!!

METS/SAN FRAN ..Actually going to tonights game.. this yr the tickets entitle us to free food..yahoo..if nothing esle i'll gain 5 pounds..i hear they added a stuffed potato station..there's hope for the mets now for sure

Seriously Barry zito has gotten off to an excellent start and Jon Niese has been lights out for the beginning of the games . Thru a 6 inning no hitter his opening start before tiring.
Neither lineup is explosive but both can push runs across. The mets are well rested after getting blown out the last 2 in Atlanta and San fran came in yesterday after a grueling series with Philly.the 1/2 run may come back to bite me in the ass but..

$100:

METS -.5 RUNS FIRST 5 ONLY +100

YANKS/RED SOX..Boston celebrates their 100 yr anniversary today..some days i feel like I've been married that long..Yanks killed me this week in the Twins series. Granderson went 5 for 5 yesterday hitting 3 homers..He should be really looking forward to the Pesky Pole..Cano has been slumping hitting alot of fly balls to left. Fortunately, those will now be hits off the Green Monster...will be making the same plays tomorrow...

the plays:
$100:
YANKS -120
YANKS /SOX O 10 -120

$50 :
YANKS TT O 5.5 -115

Dodgers pitching has been real good. Cappy (former brewer) even pitched pretty well. Matt Kemp is very scary, I was cringing everytime he was up against Milwaukee. Very good series gyno, good luck to the dodgers this year. J Hairston JR. was very very good for Milwaukee last year as well, he played very well vs. Milwaukee as well, might have actually saved that last game for them.

Atlanta is 8-2 Last 10 while D Backs have dropped 5 of 7. Braves are averaging 7.2 runs per game and a .298 average with Runners In Scoring Position during a 8-1 run. Beachy is one of Atlanta's top pitchers with a 1-1 .75 ERA but needs to go deeper into games as he has only gone throught 7 innings only 3 times in 30 games. Braves need more innings from Beachy who can be a strikeout maching when he has his mojo working. Cahill gets duty for Arizona. The ex Oaklnad A is 1-0 1.35 ERA this season with the sinkerball as his bread and butter. Don't expect Braves to hit double digits with a sinkerball man on the mound tonight. Tonight the focus will be on Beachy looking for him to go deeper into games with Braves offense manufacturing enough runs for a ML win. Arizona still without key players in line up to hamper their chances. Another 9:40 EST game time ='s a late night for Atlanta fans.

YEST 2-4 -$185

YTD 18-15 +$64

THE METS REALLY PISS ME OFF...They had so many chances to win that game and did just enough to screw up my under 24.5

today:GOING TO MALL WITH DAUGHTER BEFORE WIFE RETURNS FROM CRUISE..NO TIME FO WRITEUPS WILL TRY TO ANSER ANY QUESTIONS

METS/GIANTS...NOT MAIKING ANY PLAYS ON PELFREY FOR A WHILE..THE FOOD WAS VERY GOOD. MUCH BETTER THAN EXPECTED IF YOU WANT TO GET TICKETS LOOK FOR SECTIONS 115-122

THE Mets chocked in almost every pressure situation last night.. Jason Bay broke up Zito no hitter with a no doubt about it home run and had an infield hit as well, but struck out with the tying run on third and 1 out..Ike Davis is totally lost..look like he never played baseball. Right now he has a tennis swing and is popping almost everything up..swing at balls in the dirt and taking thigh high strikes.
Of cours no one wants to sit him down or move him into the 7th hole. Duda's average is below .200 but at least he is making contact and if in davis's spot driven in a run

PASS

YANKS /BOSTON..With the injuries Bostons lineup has some obvious holes.. i don't see either of todays starter's being particularly successful and have made 4 plays on ths game

YANKS +110 PREFER GARCIAS EXPERIENCE AND BETTER PEN

YANKS TT O ..LINE PENDING.EXECT IT TO BE 5 OR 5.5

YANKS /RED SOX O 11 GAME +100

YANKS/SOX O 6.FIRST 5 -110

ENJOY THE GAMES

Atlanta has scored 33 runs and 45 hits in their last three games. Arizona has totaled 8 runs and a .194 team average in their last four games and are 3-7 since a 4-0 start and need to come up for air. Saunders might provide the D Backs some relief against the hot bats of the Braves. Saunders is 1-0 0.64 ERA this season and 1-0 0.68 ERA career in two starts vs Atlanta. If anyone can derail the Atlanta run train tonight, on paper it is Saunders. Hanson for Atlanta is 1-2 3.71 ERA and 1-1 4.42 ERA vs Arizona. Hanson did win at Chase Field in his last outing their in 2010. Arizona still dealing with injuries to key offensive players and we expect a poor to medicore run output again tonight from the D Backs. Freeman for Atlanta is red hot at the moment going 10- 17 5 Doubles 3 HR's and 12 RBI's in a three game spurt but Freeman can also be extremely slumpish at times. With Saunder's success so far this season and against Atlanta in the past, we are looking for Freeman and the Braves to have a off night offensively. Today we will fade the side and take the under 9 1/2 total trying to peg Saunder's to have a strong outing and a strong Atlanta bullpen not to give up diddly down the stretch.

Quick update on the Phillies...

Cliff Lee was just put on the DL with a strain muscle in his side. Carlos Ruiz is out with a wrist injury. He has missed two games.

After 14 games... The Phillies have scored 41 runs for an average of 2.92 runs per game. Their team batting average is .247 and they have only hit seven home runs. Even more brutal, they are 0-5 when they give up more than two runs in a game. They are leaving little margin for error out of the starting rotation. This was to be expected but this team has zero power. It takes them three hits to score one run.

Starting pitching has been great. Bullpen has been real good. Chad Qualls has pitched great. He gets the 8th and Papelbon is perfect in saves so far.

LAD vs HOU 4/22
I certainly like this matchup for Billingsley. Not only is he off to a blazing start (Gone at least 6 innings in his 3 starts giving up 3 runs total and a whip under .70), but he's also 4-0 in 4 starts AT Minute Maid with a 1.78 ERA in his career there.
A lone concern is that Wandy has had some success against the middle of the Dodger lineup, but i'm comforted by how the top of the lineup has faired against him and expect ducks on the pond for the big boppers.
Dive in for some afternoon fun

METS..RAINED OUT..WITH LINCECUM ONLY -120..AGAINST #5 STARTER gEE I WAS LOOKING AT A METS PLAY

YANKS/SOX..TURNED OFF AT 9-1..WHAT A FREAK SHOW..CAN'T BELIEVE MY LUCK

TONIGHT...Have to figure if the sox have any heart , they'll come out pissed..CC only -130 over Bard ..says something to me..i look for a maximum effort from the Sox on national TV..This time of yr CC is still getting into shape, Definitely a warm weather performer. So hence the low line. Wouldn't be surprised to see Yanks a little flat. Also knowing hte kind of nut Valentin is, don't be surprised to see some payback for the youklis plunking that knocked him out of yesterdays game.

yest 4-0 +$400

ytd,,22-15 +$464

THE PLAY:
RED SOX/YANKS 0 5 RUNS..FIRST 5 ONLY

Atlanta Arizona last night appeared to be on pace for a double digit score as the score was 3-2 after 3 complete innings and not another run came accros home plate for the remaining 6 innings. Today Arizona throws their Ace Kennedy to try to avoid a home sweep. Kennedy' resume is outstanding with a 21 wins in 2011 and over 32 victories in 2 seasons, 8 more than any other D Back pitcher. Kennedy has won 8 consecutive decisions and is 15-1 in his last 18 outings plus being 9-0 in the last 10 at home. The twist to all these great numbers is the Atlanta Braves are the only NL team Kennedy has not beaten and he has not faced them in two years until today. Kennedy does have a 2.03 Career ERA vs. Atlanta however. Delgado for Atlanta is 2-0 4.35 ERA this season and has never faced Arizona. Delgado has really developed into a fine replacement in the Atlanta rotation while veteran Tim Hudson is recovering from injury. The Braves have a team average of .292 with 77 runs scored during a 10 of 11 winning spurt. Freeman went 0-4 last night after having a hot bat and has never faced Kennedy. Arizona is in the clutches of a five game skid.
