if you want to smoke i could careless, but seems pretty dumb to promote the fact you are committing a crime when you most likely have co-workers/not true friends as part of your contacts on facebook/twitter. i can just see someone getting fired over it and then bitching about how they got screwed over

it could be looked at as a bonehead move, but also could be looked at as a revolutionary act.

I have a feeling Romney isn't a 420 type of guy but he could be our first president in almost 20 years that has not admitted to smoking the weed.

I would think at this point Mitt might pick up more votes than he would lose if he put a shout out to 420 on his facebook

Stupid as fuck and let's me know some of my friends need to grow up and get a life. I have NO problem with people smoking weed, all of my closest friends smoke weed. None of those guys posted anything on facebook about it but I do have a bunch of distant friends that said something about it. I guess they think it makes them look cool, but to me it just makes them look like douche high school kids that need to grow the fuck up.

I'm 25, enjoy the herb, and am amazing at how many of my post-college friends do a "420 shout out" on facebook. Grow the fuck up. Weed is pretty much socially acceptable at this point, even if not legal, so what's the point?

It's time to make pot legal, but it will never happen. By being illegal it feeds criminal organizations and puts a revolving door on jails (which happens to be great business in itself). What should be a victimless life choice is a destroyer of lives and careers. By standing up for the rights of pot smokers to indulge, you are standing up to a system that presumes that it can control every aspect of our lives until we all become mindless, obedient slaves. 420 is about more than just getting high, think about it.

I can agree with almost all of your points besides the last sentence in the 1st paragraph.
