My dad meet former LAD Manager Tommy Lasorda one time OMT at a upscale restaurant here in Greenville SC. Lasorda's wife evidently was from Greenville originally pr the Greenvile area and the couple liked to dine at Vince Peron's Restaurant when he was in town. Vince Peron's was very chic and lavish in it's prime and was very well liked by city officials and local to do's and supposedly had delicious pastas that Lasorda would have dined on. Dad was on a business meeting and the group got to go over and meet Lasorda briefly after dinner with Lasorda and Peron's blessing. Dad was kinda indifferent about his introduction and said Lasorda was a regular guy and seemed to be genuine but really had no other comments. BOL With LAD Today.
