that i hate when coaches get mad at opposing teams for stealing a base when they are up by 6-7 runs, or bunting, etc...
Just because you are up by several runs late in a game doesnt mean u quit playing or quit trying to score.....is the team behind going to quit trying?
It's your job to stop them from scoring, not to expect that since they have a big lead, they cant bunt, they cant steal bases, they cant hit and run, etc....
Unless the trailing team agrees, to quit trying, then you shouldnt have to..
not saying the Sox quit trying today, they didnt, but it just shows, anything can happen....these type of comebacks are rare, but they do happen....if u have a speedy guy on first with no outs in you are up 8-1, there is NO REASON that you shouldnt steal and try to get that run in, and no reason the opponents should whine about it....
