Saw it coming from a mile away...
Haven't been getting along lately at all. Honestly kinda surprised she is actually ready/willing to pull the trigger, I guess I never took her complaints too seriously (which is obv huge part of the problem).
Then on top of that I got caught basically doing the unthinkable. It was something I did 2 years ago when I was drinking and she just found out about it. Even though I have been sober for 15 months and I did that when I was hammered black-out drunk, that obviously isn't flying...especially with all our other issues.
Maybe it's for the best but I have lived with this girl since I was 18 and I turn 31 next week. Going to be pretty life-changing.

My girlfriend got up and left too - being serious - she lives in the Bay Area and I live in Miami - for three nights in a row she beat me down for about an hour on the phone over an ex, ex, ex, ex gf who I am not doing anything with so I hung up on her each night - yesterday she never got back to me and she has said nothing - how do I know it's over? she has disowned me on Facebook and her whole family knows me so she's not playing - we dated for 15 months - of course my dog died days ago too - pretty sure I'm gonna take some time off and go to Thailand for a couple of months
Yeah I'm not completely sure that she is 100% sure this is what she wants. I know cause she won't tell her parents, which means she is not convinced in her mind that it's over. I can't really smother her, I'm in the wrong here, I just gotta let her go and hope she comes back and if not then I hope we can both pick up the pieces amicably.
