2012 MLB O/U Record: 58-50-2 (56-43-2 since starting 2-7 because of rust)
2011 MLB O/U Record: 366-270-42 (Proof & 27-Page Documentation Available Upon Request)

Definitely a disappointing 2-4 yesterday, as that number EASILY should have been flipped; we should have been 4-2. Let's see, Moyer vs Correia under was a complete pitcher's duel into the 7th, before both bullpens took over and completely exploded. And in my best bet Sanchez vs Lowe over, how many runners were stranded in scoring position? Sanchez was all over the place as I anticipated, walking SEVEN in less than five innings, yet with our luck, the Indians TWICE had bases-loaded, nobody out... and couldn't score in either scenario. I mean, are you serious?? Bases loaded, nobody out is supposed to be an automatic run, at least. And we lost by a run! I would really appreciate it if someone found a stat concerning how many times that happens in a single season, where a team doesn't score with the bases loaded and no outs MULTIPLE TIMES in one game, because I don't recall that ever happening to a team all of last year. Oh well, you just gotta look past the bullshit and move on to the next day...

**Dollar Amounts To Be Posted Later Leading Up To Gametime**
(I think about MLB Over/Unders basically every hour of every day. Sometimes my final bet isn’t final until minutes before the game begins, so keep checking back. Continuous repetition also contributes to success)

Only posting this early so you guys can get this in...

Juan Nicasio vs James McDonald UNDER 7/7.5 - $103 for $90 ($63 for $50 on under 7.5, $40 for $40 on under 7)

This will be my second biggest bet of the day. I'll post my other games in a bit, obviously along with my write-ups

That Indians game was horseshit. One of the times Sanchez walked the bases loaded nobody out and escapes on the next 3 pitches with no runs. Better luck today bro

Forgot the +/- dollar amounts within my record. It should read:

2012 MLB O/U Record: 58-50-2, -$419
2011 MLB O/U Record: 366-270-42, +$1,104

And here's my write-up for the first game on the slate...

Colorado Rockies @ Pittsburgh Pirates
Juan Nicasio vs James McDonald
UNDER 7/7.5 (Clarified how much $$ I put on each in first post)

Oh wow, if the line for this game was 8, I would put a fortune on the under, although that partly might be because of my love and bias for James McDonald. If you're a regular reader and/or follower of my threads and bets, you know how this guy is in my top five favorite pitchers, and what's not to love? He's just a very steady, consistent big-league pitcher with great make-up and terrific stuff. The only problem with J-Mac (Yes, that's his legitimate nickname if you've heard the Pirates announcers) is that he sometimes uses wayyy too many pitches to get through an inning, and with a conservative manager like Clint Hurdle (Conservative when it comes to young pitchers; certainly not that conservative offensively, especially on the basepaths), that dampers his chances of going deep into a game. In fact, he only made it through the seventh inning ONCE all of last year, and unfortunately, he is yet to record a seven-inning outing thus far this year. His numbers have been solid, though(3.45 ERA, 1.21 WHIP), but my only concern is that his strikeout numbers are down, as he only has six in 15 innings. That's a little worrisome, but as long as he continues to be the same pitcher he's been ever since coming to the Pirates organization a couple of years ago (How many people remember this off the top of their heads? His first Pirate start was against the Rockies and Jeff Francis. No, I actually didn't need to look that up because I distinctly remember it). McDonald is also a good daytime pitcher so I have confidence he can keep it up here.

Juan Nicasio is an interesting specimen, in that he was really cruising last year in his rookie season before that unfortunate incident where he got hit in the head with a line drive. He got out a tremendous start in 2012 with a seven-inning, one-run effort against the Astros, but hasn't been the same since, so I view this as a bounce-back game for him. He's got good stuff to be a servicable Major League starter, and against a sometimes-offensively-challenged lineup like Pittsburgh's, I have confidence he'll be solid in this spot here. The ONLY thing I'm worried about is a 5-3 final score, otherwise I would have put more on it. But yes, I still put a decent amount on it and hopefully we can pull out the duke and get us an under.

Ehh that Drabek vs Hammel matchup is tough. I really, really am happy for Drabek's success and always knew he'd live up to his billing as a top prospect. Hammel is also a nice story as he's finally having a breakout year with Baltimore after all his time in the bigs. My only concern is that if one of these pitchers resorts back to their old selves, even if for one game, let alone in a hitter's park like Camden Yards, it could be trouble for the under. I'd lean on the under, but that's my reasoning for not taking the game tonight, aside from not getting a vibe on it. GL with that one

I agree with you that Drabek can always regress, but just reading the papers up here and listening to their broadcast, Drabeck had really turned things around. He has more movement now on his fastball because of a mechanical motion they worked on in spring training. If you get to watch him pitch tonight, you can see him mark an x in front of pitching rubber where he wants his foot to land. Took Cardinals on RL too, they have to be steaming

watch Mcdonald pitch a no hitter and Pirates lose in 10th. With all the minor league teams and best players in country, you would think Pirates could find someone to hit a home run
