A former pro wrestler remained sedated Wednesday after he was seriously injured in a car crash in Georgia.
Marcus "Buff" Bagwell, who rose to fame during 10 years in World Championship Wrestling, suffered broken bones in his neck and face, and a broken jaw, when his vehicle flipped over near Woodstock, north of Atlanta, late Monday, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported.

The 42-year-old was transported to WellStar Kennestone Hospital, where he was being kept sedated because of the extent of his injuries.

Ron Gossett, president of Universal Championship Wrestling, said, "Hopefully, he'll make a full recovery."

Bagwell was best known for his run as five-time World Tag Team champion between 1991 and 2001. He suffered a broken neck while wrestling in 1998 but was able to recover.
