A couple plays came through two days ago. Wasn't around my computer yesterday, but hit on my only personal play of Mariners/Rays under 7 for 2 units (not part of my record).

Royals/Tigers over 8.5 (3 units)
Hochevar has pitched well as of late, however his wrap sheet against the Tigers is far from good. In his career, he has an ERA of 5.25 in over 60 innings of work. That's enough of a sample size to predict a minimum 4 runs for Detroit. The heart of the lineup should feast on Hochevar. Cabrera in 29 at-bats against Hochevar posts a .517 average!! There are also 3 others in the starting lineup with a +.300 avg (Avila, Boesch, Jackson). This game would scream for me to take the Tigers if Porcello had been pitching better in his two previous starts (7.67 IP, 17 H, 13 ER). In his career, Porcello has posted a 4.71 ERA in 67 IP.

Brewers/Padres over 6 (2 units)
I know I know, overs are always tough at Petco. However, I think that 6 is waaayyyy too low for this pitching match-up. The Brewers have seen their fair share of Volquez during his time in Cincy. In 47 IP, he's posted a 5.94 ERA against the Brew Crew. The newest edition to the crew, Aramis Ramirez has a career .318 avg against him also. On the other hand, Marcum has only two starts against the the Padres, a 4.85 ERA, and two wins... Must've been getting some run support. This game is worth 8 runs, imo.

Good luck, ladies and gents!
