Detroit -270 Why You should take them

Hey guys. I dont do this often, but I have dedicated my whole night to show you why you should take Detroit-270 tonight. If I was oldman ten, it would be his 10 unit play. would be a 10 unit play if I was Rodgers as well, but im not sooo..

Verlander looks to win a sixth consecutive start against Kansas City. Point 1
Verlander (2-1, 2.41 ERA) on the hill. should be 3-1 but was left into the 9th and got rocked against TB i think?
Verlander is 14-2 with a 2.37 ERA lifetime against the Royals . His highest win total against any opponent. He dominates this team, just like Ted Lilly owns the Padres, Cole Hamels own the braves, Mcdonald for pirates owns Braves. Point 2. He is 14-2!!!! He wins 88% of the time guys.

Verlander has gone 5-0 while limiting Kansas City to a .194 average over seven career home starts, has compiled a 1.86 ERA in winning each of his last five outings in this series overall. In the latest meeting, Verlander struck out nine and recorded his first complete game of the season during a 3-2 road victory April 16. They scored two in the match against a decent pitcher. He's surrendered just four earned runs over three starts spanning 22 1/3 innings at HOME.

Sanchez has been tagged as a pitcher with horrible control, his fastball is MEAT, with a decent breaking ball
Final Point. San Fran had a late game and has to travel to Detroit for an EARLY game. Disappointed.long plane ride = not gonna be ready to hit Verlander. They couldnt hit the guy from Fl last night.

haha yeah that SF comment takes all the credibility out of that post. KC played Detroit tonight, they arent traveling tonight. You do know that Sanchez doesnt pitch for SF anymore, right? And you also know Interleague play doesnt start for a few weeks, right?

For the record anyone reading this, regardless of the Stats, -270 in baseball is rarely a good bet. Not saying it won't win, because it most likely will. But if you bet -270 all day long you are most likely gonna lose in the long run.

This is the first bet over -200 I have made. And its fucking 2 o clock here you asshole Im tired and putting this in bc wont be up in time tomorrow give me a fucking break. Started looking at another game when looking for more stats..Yes i know he didnt play for them so disregard the travel point. Meant to say Detroit put 9 up on Hechavar and the guy they are facing is in the top 10 worst pitchers in the MLB. When I said comments I meant something positive why I should double look at something not that some low life downer can come in and bitch about. How about you grow a set of balls and put 3 times your money on something basil?

Haha relax man.. Its a message board forum. Sorry to get you all worked up. But i am gonna continue to talk smack because now its entertaining me.

Sanchez is definitely not one of the top 10 worst pitchers in baseball. Look at his career stats, especially his strikeout numbers in 2010 and 2009. (205Ks in 2010) He was part of the Stud pitching staff that won the World Series in 2010. Has he struggled this year, yes so you are right there. And yes I get that Verlander has dominated KC.. but that is obviously built into the line. The line is -270 for christ sake, so all of your "stats" are in there already. If the line was like -150 or -175 I could see you saying there is some value, but at -270 Verlander is the biggest favorite of the year. Should the Tigers win? Yes at that line they should win a majority of the time. But it doesnt always happen. Roy Halladay lost as a -260 fav on Friday, which has resulted in one of the most popular posters (Mr Rodgers) taking a break from posting.

Oh and about Detroit, They recently got swept by Seattle at Home. Tons of bettors got their ass kicked on that one as well, so they havent been a given at all lately. KC has a much better offense than Seattle, so if Seattle can do it, so can KC.

The funny thing about all this is that I actually have a small bet on the Detroit RL, which was only -120. So i agree that Detroit will win, but there is absolutely no value in the -270 line and its not smart to bet those lines. So if i see a thread saying differently I am gonna give my opinion.

baseball is very unpredictable.

By the way, madpicker, Sanchez had one bad start that ballooned his numbers. He hasnt pitched that bad this year.
