It seems this has been going around All of the Sports Forums. Posters getting an Email that looks like it's from Forum A, B & C.

The Header in the Email says " The RX Newsletter " and is from The RX Newsletter.
There is No such Email address at the RX.

We believe that this place received or Hacked into Email list Databases, and are spamming All Posters.

Posters are advised to avoid this Unknown Book.

it was pointed out to me the lines that they are offering,
example
5/3/2012
gm 915 nyy -1.5-185

the line is -1.5+110

beware
all of there other lines seem to be "off" also

thats a po box hosted by aeropost or a similar service, common for shipping crap down here. They usually rape you on taxes though. I have since forbidden my mom to send me xmas presents.

Have your tech guys check if there is a security problem with your current software. I got the email from here and another forum and they both use vBulletin.
I use a different software for my forum and notice any time they upgrade the software it's for security reasons for the most part.

Important Update:

After sending an email to YesBet.ag regarding the promotional email some Rx posters received yesterday, I received a call today from one of the book's managers (named Peter). He told me the emails were sent without their knowledge by a rogue affiliate. The affiliate account has subsequently been shut down.

The YesBet manager wanted to express his sincere apologies to anyone who may have received the email. As a result of their investigation, YesBet does not believe the rogue affiliate hacked into TheRx database, or the database of any other sports betting forum. Instead, the affiliate acquired emails by some other means and spoofed the return address to make it look like it came from The Rx.

This conclusion is consistent with The Rx's internal investigation. We did not find any evidence of someone hacking into our system. Furthermore, not all Rx posters received the email.

According to Peter, YesBet is a new player in the industry but is operated by experienced veterans.
