I concur Fitz. Its not like they been getting RISP the whole game. Still in shock he kept Marmol in that long. On top of that 3rd baseman on the cubbies that didn't put his body in front of the ball for the DP which led to a 1 run bases loaded again. HORRIBLE

I don't get it, you don't trust Dollis to get 2 more outs against the bottom of their lineup by throwing it to home on that dp ball but you trust Marmol to get out of a bases loaded no-outs jam??? The cubs are the most pathetic franchise in all of sports, they are just mirrored in incompetence

Like I said, I'd rather have a gassed 110 pitch into the game Dempster than a fresh Marmol. This Dale Sveum is truly a stupid fuck, I can't believe his decision-making in the clutch there.
From keeping Marmol in too long, to conceding the tying run instead of throwing to home, to not pulling Dollis in the 10th (it was pointless at that point I know but at least act like you are trying to win).
