Round 6

Brisbane vs. Essendon (11:40pm Friday)
Take Essendon -30.5
My line for this match was -41. Essendon is off a one point loss to Collingwood in last week's Anzac Day game. It was their first loss and now they face Brisbane, who has lost by 91, 29 and 38 points. Essendon should be motivated and I expect a nice win by them.

Melbourne vs. Geelong (11:45pm Friday)
Geelong -55.5
Geelong won the Grand Final last year and is off to a slow start in 2012. Melbourne is 0-5. Geelong should be able to win by a comfortable margin.

Adelaide vs. Sydney (5:40am Saturday)
Sydney -25.5
The home team is 5-0. Adelaide is an average team but they are 4-1. They played both recent expansion teams and did lose at Hawthorne by 56 points. The visitor could put up a fight but I like the Sydney Swans to win by 35 points.

Great Western Sydney vs. Carlton (11:10pm Saturday)
GWS +86.5
GWS is an expansion team and did lose by 129 at West Coast but the other games were losses by 63, 81, 46 and 42. Carlton is one of the best teams in the AFL but looks to rest some key players. I won't be shocked by a win of 100+ but like our chances getting 86.5 points.

North Melbourne vs. West Coast (12:40am Sunday)
North Melbourne +26.5
West Coast is one of the best teams in the league and they are at home but the last two meetings have been decided by 4 and 10 points. North should be able to keep up with West Coast as both are solid on offense. GL!
