Tampa ML (-198)- 2 units Don't like to take this high number, but Tampa is possibly the most well rounded team in the majors (along with Texas). They don't have gaudy stats, and Longoria is out, but they are timely hitters and are playing with intensity and as a team pulling for each other. Maybe it's the lack of fan support- at least they know someone (their teammates) are pulling for them. They also have Price going Friday. He is in great form, electric fastball and decent change up. Price has faced the Yankees, Toronto, Texas, Boston and the LAA. All good hitting teams, except for LAA. Price has pitched outstanding, especially his last start in Texas ( a team he couldn't beat before) and a masterpiece vs. LAA. Tyson Ross, for the A's, has good stuff, but has control, command issues. His minor league stats are not that good, and except for last year's 36 Inn. stint with the As, has been mediocre. A's bullpen has also been spotty this year. They did win 2 out of 3 in Boston, but the Red Sox are not playing well now.
Also one unit on Tampa RL
and one unit Tampa -1/2 first 5 innings
Washington ML one unit-Kendrick has struggled lately and struggled lifetime vs. Washington. Strasburg very sharp at least while is arm is healthy.
SD/ Mia under 6 or under H+R+E for one unit: Joe Johnson usually pitches well vs. poorly hitting teams. Bass has been outstanding for SD- their new ace. Neither team is hitting well.
Milwaukee: One unit ML. SF has never seen Greineke. Sandoval, Huff and Sanchez all missing. This SF lineup is having trouble scoring more than 1 or two runs a game. I don't trust Linecum either, even though he has had 2 good outings.
