downtown: 'Rays' on Prince St.
midtown: Grimaldi's (pie only no slices) 20th St. n 6th ave
uptown: Patsy's (pretty sure pies only from what i remember as well..haven't been in a while) 1st ave n 117th st.
Queens: New Park-Cross Bay Blvd. Howard Beach
Long Island: Umberto's on Jericho Tpk. in New Hyde Park
Brooklyn: Totonno's (pie only...and they close when the dough runs out, so get there early...and often) Neptune Ave. Coney Island...
Bronx: i don't get up there much so you are on yer own...
Staten Island: ? i thought that was the name of a dump? not an actual borough...i think the verrazano bridge is like $40 to cross, so why bother going....you aint missing much...
you can't go wrong with anything on this list...now i freaking want a pie...thanks
i thought i put it in there?....guess i have been there so many times it's like 2nd nature saying New Park, it's understood it's a pizzaria...sorry^^^ Nice List
Where he says Queens, he left out the name of the place. New Park Pizzeria
Not fancy but a Great Slice !
You really should get out to Brooklyn for NY's BEST pizza.. but since you are limited to Manhattan check out these.
Lombardi's 32 Spring St ( the best old fashion Italian Pizza )
Joe's pizza 7 Carmine Street
Pizza box 176 Bleecker St
You can also do the Ray's Test ... which has been the fight for years..
It's Ray's Pizza vs. Famous Original Ray's pizza Vs. Original Ray's Vs. ......
I was never a big fan of Ray's, but then again I couldn't tell you Which Ray's I ate at !!
There's a Ray's on Prince Street, at least I think it's still there..
They say Ray's is just about as close to being NY Style Pizza as any place.
But like I said up top, Brooklyn is where REAL New York Pizza is. Even Queens has some of the best pizza !
When are you coming in WC ? was it June ??
The thing that makes me the most nervous is getting around. I plan on just leaving my car parked at the hotel the entire stay. Take the trains/subways everywhere. This is going to be a whole new world for me. Never been on a subway.
