I know this has been discussed in the past. Maybe even at length. I did a search and didn't pull up what I wanted.
I'm looking to help out an older friend of mine. Getting internet for the first time in his apartment. He's on a budget and looking for the most inexpensive but satisfactory service available. I have a Comcast hi speed line and pay a fortune. $70 a month but I get free cable with that as well, that I really don't use cause I also have Directv. He just needs a basic service and down the road would maybe like to hook up Netflix so the service needs to be fast enough to access that as well.
Any suggestions? What are you guys paying and for what do you get for that price? Thanks in advance.
