Man, am I sick of these rookie managers pulling or not pulling their starters at the dumbest times.

Dale Sveum, Mike Metheny, and Robin "I got my ass kicked by old ass Nolan Ryan" Ventura all have cost their teams more than one game so far this season with their idiotic pitching changes or lack thereof!

What a complete POS Jim Leyland is, what in the fuck is he thinking in that situation?????
Out of all the shit beats I've taken over the last month and like you Skyla most were in the 9th, I think this was the worst because this was pretty much all on the inept manager. This I think was worse than the Marmol blow up against the Reds last thursday because this made absolutely no sense. Leyland has a solid closer in Valverde, he only has a 2 run lead, and just suddenly decides to get cute and use Dotel who is a 7th inning guy as the closer. Dotel clearly has no control, walks the first guy, then walks the next guy on 4 fucking pitches. Leyland just stands there like a retard and doesn't pull him with a power hitter like Montero up and keeps him in to watch him throw 2 wild pitches to cut the lead to 2-1 with the tying run at third with no outs. He still doesn't pull him and this moron Dotel throws a fucking fastball on a 3-2 count to a rookie and of course Montero nearly hits a home run and the game is now tied.
FUcking idiot, why did you do that? No fucking sense, if you wanted to get cute why not just let Phil Coke pitch the 9th since he only had to throw 8 pitches in the 8th to get through the 3 batters he faced.
A completely senseless and sick beat, fuck you Leyland!!!

Well yeah. The managers have been very questionable this year. Tough to have a win taken away because of things like that. I lost the Phills game today in the 9th too off a 3 run HR by a guy who didnt have a hit in the majors before that HR. Wow

THe thing is, while a shitty beat at least with that philly game you lost with your guy in Paplebom, but this Detroit game made no fucking sense as you throw out your 7th inning guy and watch him just meltdown and don't pull him until it's too late.

Agree, Det losing was just uncalled for. No reason for it. I hope you rebound nicely from it tomorrow Fitz.

But Im with I was on many of those same losses with you over the last month, it just sucks to lose games in the 9th but this Detroit one was the absolute worst as it made no fucking sense because a Manager just tried to get cute and then stood by idle as his decision died a slow death in front of his eyes.

Yep, a lot of these 9th inning losses have been actually do to manager meltdowns. I was watching the Det game and saw the look in Dotels eyes. He was scared. I was yelling to please get him out. Not much you can do as a capper. Not to mention all the men left on base today by Det. Just tough all around. I cant wait for tomorrow, I want my revenge for this BS
