Round 7 (May 11)

Gold Coast at Greater Western Sydney
11:40pm eastern Friday (May 11)
under 185.5

The two recent expansion teams face each other late on Friday night. Both teams are 0-6. Gold Coast is favored by 22.5 points. Both teams should be a little nervous playing each other. GWS has scored 37, 54, 69, 50, 62 and 43 points this year. GC has played 4 games that have surpassed this total with their opponent but now they face a team that has struggled to score late in games.

I think we see a game in the 100-75 range that stays under the posted 185.5. GL!

Western Bulldogs at North Melbourne
11:15pm eastern (Saturday May 12, 2012)

pick: N Melbourne (NMFC) -16.5

I had the spread at closer to -22. WB is 2-4 while NM is 3-3. NM has played both expansion clubs and won easily and beat Geelong by 17. They did lose at home to Essendon by 2 points but Essendon is one of the top 4 teams. They also lost to Sydney who started 4-0 before losing Adam Goodes.

The Bulldogs have beated expasnion team GWS by 42 and (#15 out of 18) Melbourne. Their losses:

by 50 to West Coast
by 12 to Adelaide
by 63 to St Kilda
by 19 to Collingwood

NM is at home and needs a win to get above .500 and has a good chance to win by 20+. GL!

North Melbourne -16.5
