Sometimes those pitchers that get called up for spot-starts do surprisingly well bc the players havn't had any at bats against him and there is a limited scouting report on him. Also they are extra motivated to perform well bc this could be their big shot in the show to prove and show what they have. Just keep that in mind, this rangers lineup is very unforgiving, especially at home.
Also, Vin Mazzaro has about 240+ big league innings over the passed 3 seasons (SP in oak 2009 & 2010), so some of the above comments do not apply. Just some food for thought.

his era against texas last year was huge noot the first time they have seen him. this is the same clown that to this date i believe a year ago was in a game where 19 runs was scored against kc it was the only time i believe last year the royals led sportscenter. still think it is a bloodbath for texas. good lluck to you also.
