Two Canadian tourists stabbed to death near Bally's Casino in Atlantic City

THE OFFICIAL grand opening of the luxurious Revel Casino this coming weekend has led many rooting for Atlantic City to imagine a bright future for the troubled resort town.

On Monday, they were forced to deal with a reminder of Atlantic City’s dreary recent past.

Two female Canadian tourists were stabbed multiple times Monday morning in the shadow of an Atlantic City casino and died in a trauma center a block away.

The Atlantic County Prosecutor’s Office said Antoinette E. Pelzer, 44, of Pennsylvania, stabbed the two Canadian women, ages 47 and 80, at the intersection of Michigan and Pacific avenues, a busy section of the resort city near Bally’s Casino.

Both women were taken to AtlantiCare Regional Medical Center just a short walk from the scene, where they died Monday afternoon. Both had been stabbed multiple times in the upper body. Their names had not been released Monday night.

and People ask me All the time Why I go to Vegas more than AC, when AC is only 2.5 hours away.

I use to Love going to AC because it was so close, Every weekend for like 4 years I was there. Not anymore... once in a Blue moon, and Now it's Only the Borgata and maybe The Trop ( was there for New Years )

But I rather take a 5+ Hour Flight to Las Vegas than go to AC

Nobody said there No Crime in Las Vegas. There's Plenty of crime there...

It's just it was said that they would Clean up AC when they built it, then said years later that would do it again. They never Did any of it. It's a Shit hole !

Talk about senseless killings! What could he possibly wanted from them. Surely not rape..although there have been cases of raping elderly women. If he wanted their cash, I'm sure they would have turned it over without a fight...not that they had a chance of putting up a fight. This is the type of person that should get the death penalty IMMEDIATELY!!!

There is a definite lack of security in the parking garages of these casinos and Pacific Avenue which fronts all these casinos.....these damn politicians promised the world and haven't delivered in making AC safe...
