Admittingly this has been a bizarre start to the season, but i'm either the world's biggest mush or just a complete idiot..probably both

i've lost so much money on the yanks, their team totals , Varlander and det rl and halladay and rl plays 5 and 9 innings..thousands and i realize how stupid..

sundays i've been teeing off 2 hours later so i could get in my picks to find when i get off the course i'm down $200-600..i would be better all around if i just teed off 2 hrs earlier, which given the slow play would get me home
2.5 hrs earlier and head to the beach which is 10m minutes away from my house..at the end of the day i'd be richer as well..and could take that money to ac..or if i has accumulted my losses spent a weekend at pebble beach where i have never been

or giving my love for golf i could just sign up for the numerous golf charities and the raffles for causes far much worthier..

i wish everyone good luck , i will still troll the threads here and come back for college football..

i'm going to amsterdam in june ..if anyone has any tips or suggestions please let me know..i'm sure i could put the money i just lost to real good use there!!!!puff_>>:niceback::bunnies::niceass::massage::coke::pucking:

Hang in there bud. This game is a grind. Go have fun in Amersterdam smoke some good hash and buckle up your prick in the red light district unless your married. Comeback refreshed and with a new mind for college football. Purchase Phil Steele's in depth look at every college football team at your local grocer start reading it in early August. As far as MLB I don't think anyone can successful pick that fickle sport by themselves. You got to have fades. I recommend scrolling thru the Service Tout plays on a daily basis. Top fade of all time there is Matt Rivers currently, some close seconds include Cappers Access who is currently on a 0-6 run, also Hondo is just about a big a bum as you can imagine. Brandon Lang has a real bad rep but I heard a rumor he has someone picking for him. Mighty Quinn is not nothing special. Fade away those services especially when they math up. also don't go to far from the rx baseball forum tree. I will try to be discreet when i call out a few into action, but m3 and mL if you can figure out those 2 abbreviated names are notorious fades i have followed for years...it also doesn't hurt to browse the wagerline forums too see what joe pub is loaded up on. wL forums are real beneficial if there is only 1 day game u get a great consensus of what the pub is on. last piece of advice NY is just plain public especially in MLB, take last night the MUTS were + odds with Santana and had the backers counting there money up 4-0 only too collapse and lose 5-4. I would Fade NY teams more often than playing those over priced bums. GL enjoy your summer do not stress keep with the golf try disc golf its a lot of fun!

i quickly realized baseball capping was not for me, found 2 guys on a different site and blindly follow them each day. i end up about 7-10 plays a day and the other day was on a 18-4 run or so. yesterday got roughed up a bit, but alot less stressful to just check the scores a few times a night and allow me to focus on wnba.

I usually wait a few weeks into the season to get a good feel on teams which I did this season. However, this season has not been very cooperative, to say the least, and odds have been off.

One thing I've noticed in particular is there are a few teams who are supposed to be very good but are not because overall (1) their pitching rotation sucks, and (2) their 'potent' batting lineup is not producing enough to counter the weak pitching. Three teams immediately enter my mind: NYY, BOS and DET. Each team has an ace, but the rest of the rotation stinks and they have sub-par bullpens. Despite these teams' downfall, Vegas is not letting up on the juice because of their namesake and how they are supposed to perform. In my opinion, there is not much value in giving up high juice with these teams unless Verlander, CC or Lester is on the mound. One other underperforming ‘good’ team is the Phillies. They are the inverse of the above teams as there really isn’t too much of a problem with the pitching but their bats are putrid. This is another team I have learned a lesson on and cannot back laying too much juice, at least until they get healthy.

June will be coming up and at some point soon good teams should be coming around and bad teams will start showing their true colors, and Vegas should be adjusting the odds accordingly. Hopefully, this will make things a lot easier on us.

Hang in there and BOL!

nobody should give a shit about units SR....only thing that matters is ROI yet so few will keep track of the most meaningful figure.

THANKS FOR THE ENCOURAGEMENT MATTY..I actually made my wife book a tour of the red light district as part of the my signing off on the trip..it'll be my father's day gift..i'm sure she'll make it up in the diamond district.. i love Phil Steeles book..one of my clients picks up the first day it hits the stands..in the beginning of the yr you can make money fading first time starting qbs in their first few rd starts..mighty quinn posts in my morning paper..as i stated the fun for me was picking the winners..which this last month is a waste of time and i just feel the time and more importantly the money could be better spent on things that are guaranteed enjoyable...going out friday and saturday night and seeing a blues band sat as well..have golf times sunday and monday and a big party monday evening..and i won't have to sneak off looking for scores of game that would otherwise mean shit to me

ps..i already got more comments in this thread than i did in my baseball thread all yr...baseball has been pretty dead here since Kane and rodgers left..not sure what happened to them as i was in north carolina for a while..i'll be lurking and definitely posting college and nfl football
