So, made a bunch of big ass thick ribeyes last night on the grill. They are a perfect mid-rare. I have one extra, I obviously understand that heating it up in any fashion will cook it a little further.

My question for the chefs out there is, what is the best way to heat it up a bit without taking it too much further in the middle? I usually use a non-stick skillet and some olive oil and kind of re-char it, but I've also had good luck with putting leftover steak on an oiled cookie sheet and using the broiler.

I am not going to restart the coals so rule that out. What is the method here?

Broil in the toaster oven?

Throw it in vacuum seal bag and boil it in a pot for short while?

Wrap in foil, and put on the manifold of your van.

Take a 12-15 min drive.

When you get there, it's perfect.

I do that a lot.

Works great on Pizza too.

Mgr here at Sears is being a real prick tonight. I am watching the Heat game, and he keeps looking at me, like he is all that.

Getting harder to find a place to watch games.

BTW for any of you who have a Mernards near you, (they are like a home depot of lowes), the whole mth of may they have a rebate program going where you get 11% back off everything you spend. All you have to do is save all your reciepts, and at the first of June send them in with a rebate form, and mernards will send you back a certificate for 11% of what you spent at mernards during the mth of May.

Most stores have 4-6 trash cans beside the entrance and exit doors. Every few hours I have been going by and taking the full trash bag out and putting in a new empty bag.

I take the full bag of trash back down to the river and go thru it.

Tons of reciepts, I mean tons. Most for only 10-20 bucks, but on each one i get back 11%.

I may be getting ready to have some "NEW" grills for sale once I get this rebate back.

Let it get to room temperature and then heat it up in pan. I love my steaks rare and this will help keep them rare.
