The Mariners are capable of playing decent baseball (keep in mind even the worst MLB teams win 1 in 3 games). The Angels are not playing well overall this season.

With that said, the Angels should be able to muster up a good outing tonight in game #2 vs. the Mariners. Things are starting to look a bit brighter and now that Pujols has been showing some power it seems that morale may be increasing.

SP D. Haren gave the Angels bullpen a rest last night with a complete performance. I think SP E. Santana has good opportunity to continue his very good pitching as of late and shut the M's down for the most part.

This really isn't a statistical type of match-up. Here we have two struggling teams. One of those teams (Angels) is going to make a serious push to get this team on track. With King Felix next up on mound it is imperative that L.A. plays with a high level on intensity tonight, and continue the small amount of momentum that they have begun to generate.
