I wonder if it's a phobia. I'm in my late 20's. The idea of getting old scares the crap out of me. I think about it often.

I'm just wondering what it feels like when you are 40. How bout 50? And in your 60's? Is it like constant pain and sickness and aching or does that not come till in your 60's or 70's?

I take very good care of myself, eat right and exercise. Hopefully that helps but it's still inevitable isn't it?

I guess nobody here can help my fear of getting old so I'll settle for some responses on how it feels like when you're in your 40's, 50', 60's. What is the mind and especially the body like.

eat well, work out often, and find a good woman and you will have no issues until you're 35ish.

I'm about to turn 45. Have been an athlete all my life. Well coordinated, etc. I am finding that I drop things more often than in the past. For example. Walking thru the house with an open box of mexican food in my hands.. consciously aware that I DO NOT want to spill anything on the carpet.. seconds later.. the edge of the little container catches a wall and BAM. These little moments have been occurring more frequently over the past 3 or 4 years. Not sure if I've lost my edge or what. If age is bringing this on.. I'm F'd.

I'm 64 and have my share of aches and pains but it is nothing to be afraid of! It is the normal circle of life. To tell you the truth, I wouldn't want to be in my 20's in this day and age. Very happy to be one of World War II's baby boomers!

Jaguara if you keep worrying about it, then it will kill ya. Billions before you have at one time or another thought about getting old and dying. Michael Jackson said that the hardest thing he ever did was getting old.

Follow as many of these things and you should live a long happy life ..

  • Laugh as much as possible
  • eat spicy food
  • experience new things (music, food, drink, places)
  • look both ways before crossing the street
  • walk a lot
  • Be nice to Betallsports
  • open an account at JustBet (yayaya shut up guys ... you know I am right)

Yeah well I also take a Lung Test ( a pulmonary function test ) every two years.
last test was 2010. I have lungs of a 34 year old.

Also i would say that out of that pack I probably smoke 1/2. Most of the time I light them take a puff and put it in the ash-tray and forget that I lit one.

I think Every Smoker out there should take this test. It's measured by Age, Height, weight, etc.... you can have it done by any ENT

If you want to be afraid of something, just think about this:

Tomorrow is promised to no one!

Anything can happen at anytime to anyone regardless if they are in their 20's.

Eat spicy food? Not that it's tough to do. Lot of spice in our diet. Just wondering why you suggest that? Is it healthy or something?

Yeah I guess I should stop thinking about it. Why stress over something you can't change.
