Round 10

Richmond at St. Kilda
GWS at Geelong
North Melbourne at Hawthorne
Adelaide at Freemantle
Melbourne at Essendon
Carlton at Port Adelaide
West Coast at Brisbane
Western Bulldogs at Sydney
Gold Coast at Collingwood

Richmond at St. Kilda looks like the best match of the round. The other games look to be good teams vs. bad teams. I will post a few plays later in the week when the lines come out.

FUTURE PLAY:
Collingwood 9/2 to win the Grand Final

Collingwood is 7-2 but has won 5 in a row. They have several key injuries (Dane Swan) and are playing well. They lost in the final last year to Geelong. Back in 2010 they tied 68-68 with St. Kilda in the Grand Final and beat them a week later (replay) by 108-52.

*Can you imagine a Super Bowl being tied at the end and instead of playing overtime they would play again the following Sunday?

Take Collingwood 9/2

Greater Western Sydney at Geelong
11:45 pm ET Friday
pick: GWS +74.5 (Pinnacle)

Geelong won the title last year and stand at 5-4 in 2012. They should be able to win easily at home against Greater Western Sydney and focus on their next game against a good team (Carlton). Geelong has played a good schedule so far. Their five wins were by 2, 10, 38, 20, and 36 versus a Melbourne team that is 0-8.

GWS is 1-8 with a win against 0-8 Gold Coast, an expansion team from 2011. They have lost by 63, 129, 81, 45, 42, 67, 92 and 66 points. I won't be shocked by a big loss at Geelong but think the Giants can stay within 60 to 70 points. My guess is 120-55.

Looks like +78.5 is available. Every point helps!

Fremantle/Adelaide under 175.5
2:40am Saturday

Totals aren't available at many books but I will post this at the number I got. Fremantle is a team that focuses on defense and coached by Ross Lyon, whose style is one that many dislike as they play different than most teams.

Their last few games have seen 134, 122 and 99 at home. They did have a 206 game in their opener. I had this line closer to 157.

GWS +74.5

Geelong wins by 65 points (126-61). My prediction of 120-55 was close.
