We all know that the Braves have been losers of their last six games. It is also well known that Nationals starter, Gio Gonzalez, has been the best of the best as of late.

Normally a sharp better will not make a play on a team who is not winning. NO team is ever due for win, this is professional sports -

I see a Braves team that is going to regroup in a VERY, VERY tight contest where they may need their last at bat to win this game.

I think Braves SP, B. Beachy can get back on track going against an ace like Gonzalez. The Braves are hitting pretty well they just need to let a couple drop in with RISP. They hit LHP with power, SLG % is .418 (4th in the NL) and they hit LHP well in gm 1 - SP T. Hudson was having an off night.

The Nationals can beat you up and down the lineup. CF R. Ankiel has two 3B in this series - I. Desmond has been hot, as well.

The Braves are a very solid ball club and they should be able to keep pace with the Nationals (even if they trail by a run or two), I think they will be right there.

Braves BP threw 70 pitches in GM 2, Beachy really has to take control of this thing and get a little help with a big hit late in the game.

All the Best,
