Turned the grill on Friday night... 10 minutes later I go outside and flames everywhere coming out my Weber grill of 10 years. I left 2 wire grill brushes in it when I power washed the pool deck.

Wife says I need to get a whole new grill, and I don't argue with this woman,,,,

I have squash zucc. and onion ready to throw on there... also have some of those johnson "hot and spicy" sausages. wife loves them. definitely has a good kick.... bought some hillshire farm "gourmet creations" trying the beef, bacon and montery jack cheese beef smoked sausage for the first time.... also some nathans hotdogs (best hotdogs in the world on the grill, even better than buying them retail IMO...

keeping it simple today, wife leaves for work at 630 so just me and a couple of friends...

I'm moving away from "fancy" grill equipment. I'd prefer to dig a hole in my backyard, light up the coals, and grill my foods.

I love grilling lamb chops, need to cook them perfectly but when you do they are absolutely scrumptious. Mid rare to rare they are awesome....

Nothing beats charcoal for cooking.

I bought a simple charcoal grill with sidecar smoker for $180 at Lowes. 25 years of gas grilling is done. Charcoal is sooooo much better. Smoking is a breeze..One tip. Buy large chunk Hickory put the entire bag in a bucket of water. Soak for 7 hours and then drain and put back in bag and into freezer..Amps up smoke tremendously. Have fun.

I make kickass baby-back ribs! I do it about twice a month. Slow cooking is key.... A good rub helps.... and a good bbq sauce.
