Yea, while they really need PP and KG to score, Rondo needs to manage these games very well - keep guys involved on the offensive end so that they don't cool down. He also needs to protect the ball given how much Miami likes to run.

Rondo - if he's on he can dominate a game. The injury to Bradley really hurts their chances. If the Celtics manage to win this series, I think it would be an upset of epic proportions. I'm hoping . . .

Its actually easily KG....

Wade or Bron could guard Rondo if it really camedown to it. With Bosh out KG is the 1 guy with a huge advantage on the offensive end

Also defensively he is by far the Celts most important player and being able to play off of Miami's terrible bigs is the Celts best chance at making the series competitive.

I see what you're saying.

I can see the Cs losing a game where KG plays out of his mind (think, 28pts, 14rebs) and also winning games where KG goes for 12pts and 8rebs... Whereas Rondo needs to play well for them to win, on both ends.

As an aside, how much time do you think Lebron spends guarding KG? I think it'll be quite a bit - and I think it'll bother Garnett... Lebron is much more fiesty than most of the bigs KG is used to.

Nearly none for a lot of reasons.

i think its Rondo - -guy is a beast -- KG not too far behind.
Ray Allen needs to up his game because he aint gonna get too many more shots at a title at his age.

Surprised that someone from Boston would have this distorted of a take.......

Rondo has surpassed the 'Big 3' for quite some time now.....not just this year. KG is playing on fumes. He is getting abused by Wade and Bron driving to the hole at will. Imagine if Bosh was in there? Wouldnt be pretty

You're the only one in this thread who realizes this. Boston may win Game 3. If not, could be a sweep.

So many Heat haters, it's funny! @)

There's no doubt they beat the Cs this series, as much as I hate it, but they're going to have to beat one VERY tough team in the finals. Come back once they've actually won something.

i think a lot of people hate the league too. heat the better team, but the officiating and the lottery the other night just ignites people's perception the league is rigged.
