Kemp is supposed to return tonight, he hit 5-7 with 2 bombs in his 2 rehab games and 5rbi

Both teams having spot starters tonight with Michael Fiers (milw) and Nate Eovaldi (filling in for Ted Lilly).

Not sure how to judge this starting pitcher matchup, i havn't seen either pitcher and both are facing potent lineups.

I see a big home field edge if Kemp returns tonight could give Eovaldi some help with a bumpin dodgers stadium, and his best in the bigs swagger and bat.

I'll probably lay off of it but I would like to hear any thoughts ya'll might be willing to contribute, sounds like im leaning dodgers but not enough without any feel for how the starters might turn out

actually just came into the MLB thread to post my plays both solid on MIL.

Kemp can make an impact, but to me its more about the starting pitchers. I think one batter coming back from DL is way overrated in handicapping games.

Thx defying. I agree I dont put much stock in Kemp returning but its good to point out that he could change the mood of the team and the fans that are excited to see their best player back in action, which makes it something to watch for (probably not a key to the game like you said however). You have any insight about why milwaukee has the edge in the BvP matchup tonight?

i put it in my own thread, but here it is again...

Brewers +118 5 unit 500/590 (5dimes)
Brewers ATL RL -1.5 +190 2 unit 200/380 (5dimes)

I really like the Brewers in this spot. I know Kemp is coming back, and sure he can make a difference, but to me its about the pitchers.

Michael Friers is a big prospect for the Brewers. He absolutely dominated the AAA last year, 8-0 in 12 starts with a 1.11 ERA, not as successful this year, but thats good stuff

Nathan Eovaldi, LAD starter has a problems with walks. Last year he had his Major league debut season. he averaged over 5 walks per 9. which is actually right on line with his career (including Minor league average)

I think Brewers win this easily.
