BOL GUYS ALL INPUT WELCOME
Welcome to the world of MLB Over/Unders, it's always nice to see someone else exploring them. Not sure if you're new to this specific type of bet but let me warn you (As you found out last night), there have been countless, countless, countless bad breaks that are impossible to predict. Too many times this year, I've been 100-percent right on a game, only for some bizarre fluke-like instance to occur and completely ruin the bet when it shouldn't have happened in the first place.
Take last night's game for example: I had that Greinke vs Billingsley under as well. You and I, in that taking side, made the RIGHT call. Don't live by the philosophy that "a loss is a loss" because ten times out of ten, everyone is supposed to make the bet that we made, based on our opinions of the starters going into said contest. But of course, much like a lot of times this year, absolute bullshit took over the game when Carlos Gomez (Aka one of the scrawniest outfielders there is) drilled a meaningless PINCH HIT two-run home run. So okay, we'll settle for a push... but we can't even get that, as James Loney, hitting .180 against lefties this year, somehow punches an RBI single off a lefty... with two outs and two strikes in the bottom of the ninth. Yes, that stuff is supposed to happen "once in awhile," but I assure you, it's been happening on a regular basis. It's too bad you didn't get into MLB Over/Unders in recent years when this stuff was much, much, much easier and profitable.
As for your games tonight, I also have a small bet on Pavano vs Lowe over 9, as Lowe's overall numbers don't tell the whole story, meaning he has to come back down to earth sooner than later. Buchholz vs Alvarez over 9.5 is too high for my liking (Could easily be 6-3) but it should be close. Wainwright vs Santana I didn't really have a vibe on (Wouldn't be surprised if it was 5-4, though), and when it comes to Leake vs Happ, I lost the under in their matchup last year on a Tuesday night in Cincinnati so I guess it wouldn't surprise me to see it go over again. I'm staying away from it, though, because I mostly see it falling in the 6-2/6-4 bracket.
Good luck
