No need for personal attacks. All I said is that Time Out Tavern is very expensive for a sports bar. They do seem to have a rabid loyal following here however as any hint of negativity brings in the defenders. If you can afford it, great, but when I'm spending over $20 on a meal, I'd rather it not be for a burger and fries.
Most in Escazu are, TGIF and Dibartolo are great examples of overpriced restaurants in that area. There are plenty of high end restaurants with great food in the non-gringo areas that are very reasonably priced and well trafficked. Unfortunately for most of the gringos they don't get outside the few square miles of Escazu and Santa Ana.
Thank you for everyone's kind words of support in this thread. We would especially like to thank those members of this forum who have supported us for nearly six years going back to our days as the Sandwich Guys. Thanks to everyone who turned out this weekend.
