Let it ride. Heat roll at home. Just don't see them going down 3-2. Also, looks like Bosh is at least a maybe tomorrow. Would at least wait for something affirmative on his status before deciding to hedge.

I wouldn't hedge it all. You made the bet for a reason, don't overthink it.

If you must hedge it then wait til the half and see what the flow of the game is and you'll know what to do from there.

Would only make sense to me in case he expected the line on Miami to increase and therefore logged it in at -4 (expecting that to get MIA-4 after the OKL game he would have to pay significantly more juice)

Since the line is at -8 now (I guess in part thanks to Bosh's upgraded status for the game), he made the right choice since he could just take BOS+8, hope for a middle and only lose the juice.
Or you bet BOS +7, sell 1pt (shops like pinnacle allow you to do so)...odds should be around +110 and therefore you would secure the winnings from the 2 already won bets and in addition you would get a free shot on MIA to win by 4-7 (winning double if they win by 5 or 6).

But unless you expect odds to change significantly, you should never hedge, but instead just bet the 1st two games in a 2-team parlay and after that bet decide, what to do with the 3rd game. That way you don't throw money away (by paying the juice) hedging out of a parlay....

he wants the attention. we also never hear about the big dollar bets he loses, only the big ones he seemingly wins.

he has no sense of money management or discipline. these dumb parlays and teasers are proof of that.

Ah...wrong again moron. I am just not used to hedging. I cleared stated that in one of my older posts. I pretty much always let it ride. I'm just asking for a little advice to get different people's perspective on how they would do it. I've been betting a very long time. If I had to I can hedge without any advice but it doesn't hurt to see how other people would do it.

Hedging doesn't mean you want to get out of it. It could mean you want to guarantee yourself a profit of even set yourself up for a bigger profit by middling.
