Here's The Stat About The Boston Celtics That Should Scare Miami Heat Fans

The Miami Heat will try to even up the Eastern Conference Finals tonight in Boston. And when they take the court, they will be battling more than the Boston Celtics. They will also be going up against history.
Since 1980, the Boston Celtics are 24-6 at home in the playoffs when they have chance to win a series. That is an incredible .800 winning percentage. And they are just as good in close-out games at home in the Eastern Conference Finals or the NBA Finals where they are a combined 8-2.
How are the Celtics so dominant home when they have a chance to finish off an opponent?
Of course, a big part of it is the players. But the Heat will also be facing the fans in the Garden. And there may not be a more electric atmosphere in sports than the Garden in the playoffs when the Celtics have a chance to finish a series.
Considering LeBron James and Company's reputation for underperforming under pressure, this doesn't bode well for Heat fans.

That's why I pay almost no attention to past results. They have 0 impact on what happened tonight. Celtics looked old and slow !

I thought for sure they were going to win it also...and I didn't use any stats! I don't think I've had one game or total right in the playoffs.
