Kobe + Howard better than Kobe + Shaq?

I read a rumor that LA is going to try hard to acquire Dwight Howard in the offseason... Kobe and Howard would be an awesome one-two punch...

Do you guys think Kobe/Howard would be better than Kobe/Shaq?

How about Kobe/Howard vs. Lebron/Wade?

Howard is a better athlete and better defender than Shaq, but Shaq was the more dominant player overall.

I mentioned in another thread that Orlando will be looking to get a solid player in exchange for Howard instead of just letting him walk and coming up empty-handed.

Miami could easily offer Wade or Bosh for Howard and the Magic would take that deal in a heartbeat, and it would be a win-win for both teams.

In my opinion even just Lebron and Howard alone would be much more dominant than the trio of LJ, Wade, and Bosh...

Kinda tough to present this as comparing apples to apples. Kobe was 27 or whatever when he last played with Shaq, he is 34 now and on the downside.

Although FWIW, Shaq in his prime way more dominant than Howard ever was or will be.

Absolutely not. Howard is a crybaby, who will only win riding the coattails of someone else. His recent actions demonstrate that he knows this as well as anyone. As mentioned above, Shaq was a dominant force who could lead a team on his own.

Shaq was an absolute BEAST ... 7-1 325 , Howard will never be the offensive threat shaq was .. but agreed his defense is better ...

other than the free throws, which is pretty close contest. Shaq will always be more dominate than Howard. Much more consistent scorer also
