Boston: The Red Sox have just faced some of the best pitching in the mlb this weekend. The Nats have a big 3 for sure. And a good BP too. Against lesser pitching, the Sox were hitting pretty well. Beckett and Johnson are both pitching well, but Beckett has definitely faced the tougher lineups. And despite the Marlins having a great May, they have 10 runs in their last 6 games. Better pitching(by their opponents) and a so-so lineup has shut down their hitting and shut Ozzie Guillen up. On this subject, his Castro-loving comments and observations about basketball reveal him to be the idiot that he is. He can't keep his mouth shut and just manage because then he wouldn't get the attention he really craves. It's just my opinion, but baseball teams(and young players) need steady, smart and occasionally fiery. Not a blow-hard who is always trying to be fiery(and phony). Valentine is no great shakes either, but Guillen is beyond overrated. Anyways, Beckett is another tough pitcher that will likely keep them under 3 runs. Sox have better BP too. One unit ML.

yeah, and it doesn't hurt that Beckett is sporting a nifty .091 WHIP in his L3, and BAA of .185 for June. Miami batting just .202 in the past 5 gms. and losers of 6 straight.....
