I'm going to be headed into the Boston area next week to catch a Sox game. I was wondering if anyone familiar with the area had any suggestions on where to stay? I'd prefer to stay outside of Boston and take the T into the Fenway area.
If you stay at the Hyatt in Cambridge you can just walk across the river to Fenway, and if you use priceline you can probably get a room for just under $100 (which is great around metro Boston).
there is a howard johnsons literally next to fenway and normally reasonable priced (its not exactly fancy). you can walk to fenway and anywhere on landsdowne st and not have to worry about driving (assuming you're drinking).
