This game is the beginning of a much needed 6 game road trip for the Red Sox, they have really struggled at home so far this season and on the road they have managed to stay over .500 with a 15-12 record. This is a matchup of two very good pitchers ( Red Sox: Josh Beckett, Marlins: Josh Johnson ). I don't see the Marlins being able to score more than 2 runs with Beckett on the mound and I expect him to go at least 7 or 8 innings and have a very good night against this struggling Marlins offense. Two runs just won't be enough for Miami to get the W here, Josh Johnson will be facing one of the toughest lineups he will see all season and even a good game from him won't be good enough to keep Boston from putting up a few tonight. The Marlins have hit a cold streak this month and I expect it to stay pretty bad for them at least all the way throughout this stretch of interleague play. Great line value on Boston at -103!
