Anyone betting on the CWS? I did well in the Super Regionals going 14-5 (+.8.5 units). Looking to keep it going in the CWS. Hoping my boys can go for the 3-peat!

Those were bets with local guys at work. Not official plays. I never posted any of them. Just an FYI. I will be posting CWS plays.

Games start Friday with Bracket 1 - Stony Brook vs LSU @ 5pm and Arizona vs Florida State @ 9pm. Bracket 2 is Saturday with Kent State vs Arkansas @ 5pm and South Carolina vs Florida @ 9pm. Should be some great games. I will have my picks up early Friday. Still doing some digging on these. The one I know for sure will be South Carolina. Yes it may be a homer play as I am a big South Carolina fan BUT this is Omaha baby and they havent lost a game there since 2010 and none in TD Ameritrade Park...I know Florida has taken 3 of 4 from SC this year, but these guys play a different level of ball when the tourney starts (swept the regional and super regional). They are focused and hungry for a chance at the 3-peat. Roth starting for SC is big as he plays very well in Omaha and they are looking for redemption against Florida owning them this year in regular season play. We will see.

Roth has never lost to Florida. I'll be having a homer pick also. I don't have a line yet, but I expect Florida to be a -130 or so. I already put a small wager on Carolina to win it all at +500.

The lines I've seen popping up here and there are anywhere from -150 to -130 on Florida for game 1. They just play asome special ball in Omaha. I have put $$$ on them to win it all myself. I am curious to see if FSU's bats can keep doing what theya re doing. They are killing it right now.

Oddsmakers have installed the Gators as 5/2 favorites while the Florida State Seminoles have the next best odds at 3/1. The Arizona Wildcats and South Carolina Gamecocks are 4/1, respectively, while the UCLA Bruins are 7/1. Stony Brook is 15/2, Arkansas is 9/1 and the Kent State Golden Flashes are the current long shots at 15/1.

Got South Carolina at +155 this morning. Lot of value there IMO with Roth, who has never lost to Florida, starting. Should be a great game.
