I got a question?

If Jordan is on Kobe and Pippen is on James, who would guard Durant? Or vice versa?

Malone would have to guard Durant right?

I'd take Ewing over Hakeem but then I'm bias. #33 is my favorite player of all time. He was a beast of a center in his day.

its the top 5 and its not even close IMO....jordan and pippen defensively unstopable....stockton at the point, one of the best ever....total mismatch...malone best power forward of all time behind duncan

Agree with this... Especially the point about Stockton not only being one of the best ever, but probably the best Point Guard ever...And those who argue that he's not doesn't realize this.... http://www.therxforum.com/showthread.php?t=790123&highlight=john+stockton

The second 5 haven't all reached their prime yet (Kobe and Garnett have passed it) so from what I know today i say top 5. But when it is said and done we may change our opinions.

what about the decade/generation you missed:

Shaq
Kobe
Duncan
JKidd/SNash (u choose)
Garnett/Nowitzki (u choose)

another reason the top5 would be so dominate stockton and malone played together and know each others games inside and out, ditto for jordan and pippen...just having 2 sets of 2 guys who have played with each other is huge IMO

positions, 1st team is lockdown other than putting in magic for stockton (in which case it would be an absolute joke) but the 2nd team really doesnt have a power forward (if you put garnett at center) and b/c its current players you have to include james and durant....

like someone mentioned way above the size of the 1st team over the current players is a joke....
