I have in the past only made One wager per day, and Hit 9 in a row.

The Key here is "ONE" wager... Hard to do IMO

I thing Bodog had a contest that if you hit 30 in a row one a day they gave away 100K
I think out of millions of tries by hundreds of thousands of posters they paid out the 100K once.

Do you remember if it was spreads Only ? or was it ML as well ?
Because as everyone knows, ML's in Football would be Much Much easier.

With a 50% chance of winning each wager, there is a 50% chance of a winning streak of eight or more over 365 bets. If we make it a winning or losing streak there is a 50% chance of a streak lasting at least 10 games

It was spreads and totals for football and basketball
It was totals for baseball and hockey and you could only bet money line plays that -120 or less.

I wonder if it was against the spread.

The Stardust used to have a card [football] that paid $100,000 for a $5 bet - against the spread with 15 teams. All spreads had 1/2 points so no ties. I hit 14 once. At least a couple of people won it. True odds were about 33,000 to 1.

My wife, who knows nothing about basketball, once picked about 20 games in a row by looking at the standings in the newspaper. Guys were asking "who does your wife like today" after about the 6th game. After winning 20 or so in a row, she then lost about 20 in a row.

Hit 16 in a row Bet O The Day documented posts here back in the day (2002 or 3). Interestingly,
I posted my record in each post, after 6 wins in a row and unbeknownst to me, the Forum treated the streak like a NoHitter and nothing was said. After 10 in a row and being superstitious, I worried nobody was noticing, but I wasnt about to say. "Hey everybody look at the streak.!" When the 17th bet lost, I was met with tons of:party:thanks posts, people were adhering to gambling etiquette silently watching and betting.

Managing my retirement fund these days and its average 2 to 3 dime daily swings with no time to post.

Still gambling recreationally and just hit 10 in a row, (longest streak in 3 years) After the 10th win 5 days ago, I have lost 5 in a row (m*ther*uker!)... gambling gotta love it.
