Thanks guys...

If you could see these kids and the effort they put forth tears would well in your eyes. They do not know how to quit. They are 100 % all out all the time Can not say that about many multi millionaire pros today...The sportsmanship is great as the participants all congradulate each other after the event. Whether you won gold or finished last it does not matter...they high five and pat on the back each other.. It is truly touching

I sponsored the special olympics when I had my bakery. Never was able to see an event though, was too damn busy.

Good for you Mailman.

Thanks again guys and CoachCB your comments mean so much to Michael and I. I wish some of the alleged superstars who are "playing for a paycheck" could see these athletes. They might learn a good lesson.

Also Special Olympics are open to all ages not just the younger kids. At the Masachusetts games I saw athletes that were well into their 40's or 50's competing.

During the track events I found myself saying "geez that person could beat me" especially in the longer races

God Bless the Special Olympians. On a personal note "They are my heros"
