Death row inmate devours 29,000-calorie last meal

If the state of Mississippi hadn't killed Gary Simmons Jr., his last meal might have. Simmons, a convicted murderer on death row since 1997, requested a collection of heart-stoppers, including two Pizza Hut pizzas (one a double portion), almost 6 pounds of cheese, 80 ounces of ranch dressing, a family-sized bag of Doritos, two strawberry milkshakes, 40 ounces of Cherry Coke, a supersized McDonald's fries and two pints of strawberry ice cream. His state-sanctioned feast was estimated to be 29,000 calories — what an average man eats in a two-week period. No word on whether Simmons finished his meal; Mississippi finished him Wednesday. His last words: "Let's get it on so these people can go home."

I like to hit an all you can eat Chinese buffet once every 6 weeks or so. crab legs, sushi, shrimp, etc.. The last time I went I thought I ripped my stomach tissue I ate so much. No pleasure... all searing pain. I would have taken the chair just to end it.

I would request a prime cut Prime Rib with baked potato, au jus, and creamy horseradish sauce. As a back up, I'd ask for a Filet Mignon with bernaise sauce and french fries to dip into au jus. I'd have NY cheese cake with a very good blend of coffee!

If that wasn't available, I'd ask for a trip to Vegas for a year!
