Robby Gordon believes today's race at Sonoma will be his last one of the NASCAR season. Gordon has no sponsorship lined up beyond this week. He's raced only twice this season...the Daytona 500 and at Phoenix. After failing to qualify at Las Vegas and California, Gordon has not attempted to make a NASCAR race since March.

Robby is a good road racer and will start 34th today. Back in 2003, Gordon picked up one of his three NASCAR victories. Tough to run in this sport without the big bucks.

So tough as a single car team to compete

Nowadays, with the new car and all, it is very hard to just show up and compete. Robby def has the driving talent to get the job done, but does he have the equipment to do it, and the ability for the crew to dial it in and make adjustments as needed. Most likely not, but with a little luck, and avoiding a few accidents, he def has a shot at a decent showing. Enjoy the race fellas.
