Not sure about the unearned runs...but it was actually 68 scoreless innnings if you count game 1 of the NLCS that year.

well if they are calling it scoreless innings I would imagine there were no unearned runs.

I did not research at all.
Did not know they were calling it scoreless innings.

They were calling Dickey's streak scoreless innings to until he gave up the un earned run the other night.
Then they went from talking about Dickey's scoreless innings streak to Dickey's no earned runs streak.

Hershiser went 59 scoreless. No earned or unearned runs. He carried it over to playoffs and 2/3 inning next season.

Reliever a few years ago, Brad Ziegler, a guy i played against in college, opened his MLB career with 39 scoreless innings.
