Anyone live in the Daytona area?

i'll be moving down to port orange in january. was wondering what it's like in the area, since i've yet to visit.

I'm from Jacksonville ....only 90 miles or so north. That area is very nice. Not as populated, especially immediately outside of Daytona. The beaches are nice, you're close to Orlando (major airport), great golf, great fishing....plus no state income tax, cheap property/low property tax, decent weather (hot summers, mild winters)....

thank you coach! i wish the income tax applied for me, i will be too busy to work. i'm excited for the mild winters, but not exactly ready for the miserably hot summers.
