games played at bowl sites.

Why?

Why wait until 2014?

Plenty of time to implicate it NOW for upcoming season...
probably to offer tv rights to highest bidder for the new system.. someone will pay largely i would guess and besides tv there will be an entire new group of sponsors.

sucky thing is the deal is thru 2016, which means if it needs fixing (which it will), we are stuck with the BROKEN system.

it's better than the BCS, but it still falls short. It just adds two more teams to the mix. I understand it's easy to implement

but picking 8 teams, and the four winners advance after the bowls would give teams like Boise a chance to participate. Going to be hard to convince the BCS conferences to give up the money that goes with one of those 4 spots.

2026 and it's not like they can't/won't change it.

Four teams is not enough...but a good start.

They should have just went to a 8 team playoff.... 8 teams would have meant we could have had 4 BCS games mean something instead of just 2 BCS exhibition games.. 8 team playoff means we could stop with all of these teams jumping to other conferences.. We could have had 5 BCS conferences, ACC, Big 12, Big 10, Pac 12, and SEC all get there as champions into the quarterfinals and leaving 3 at large teams scrambling for the last 3 positions.. That means the Boise's of the world would still have there shot and every other year or so, the Big East might even get a team into the field.. There would be no real argument with an 8 team field that a worthy team is being left out...Regular season still would matter since 5 of those spots up for grabs is for champions of these 5 BCS conferences... No way any team can really depend on being 1 of 3 at large teams...... This is a start but my plan is better
