How many of you have made wagers with other posters??

Lots and lots of talk about stiffs recently...

Just curious to see how many of you have gambled with other posters here...were you stiffed?? Paid quickly?? Obviously who and what amount isn't important - but would it be fair to see at least 20% of the people here are stiffs?

Personally, I have paid out two bets to posters and had one bet paid to me. All three were settled within the day - so I guess my luck has been pretty good.

When it gets up to 500+ the odds of getting paid go way down unless you know who you are dealing with.Low bets most seem reliable.

I have heard of people getting stiffed over less than $100...is that pretty much the cutoff point for where people feel comfortable wagering with strangers??

I have made may bets with other posters but $100 was the most it has gotten in stakes

never a stiff job with me directly (on poster-poster wagers)

made many bets with posters and have never had any issues....i guess i am lucky so far from all the horror tales out there.

nope , they got clobbered by USC in Rose Bowl.. made the bet before Bowls were announced,

I remember that one...was in the casino playing blackjack while watching that one...I had a hundred on USC..think -7 or something? It covered easy.

I believe Penn St. got screwed by zebras last time they played Florida in a bowl. Penn St. was getting 6 and didn't cover. Ref's called a ridiculous P.I. on 3rd and goal against PSU. PSU was up by 5 in 4th qtr when Ref's stole this game.

when I was a newbie here, I got up with a" local" who gave me action although he lived in Cali..he paid, beat him for just under $200. I think it was $50 limits. he paid, then I got to arguing with him about his high juice.... so it was a very short lived business relationship although it went smoothly

He was always one of the 1st people to come into threads bashing others for stiffing etc...

I've had ~5 bets with various posters on here, won some, lost some -
but never had a problem with the financial transactions.

Never understood why forums dont act as escrow and take 10% of the pre-paid stakes.

I realize it has something to do with gambling laws but in an ideal world posters would only bet other posters with escrowed money.

I'd much rather pay another poster than 5dimes.
