It has the Highest Odds, but one could make Money if you have a large bankroll

of course matches like Nadel losing, you could get destroyed on the way to making that Money.

the only american book you can even sniff a chance at success at this sport is 5dimes.

If you do statistics properly, situations properly, you can make money. It's up there with baseball. The problem is it is very easy to chase with large favorites (-200-300) that go down and put a hole in your wallet.

I guess you go Nowhere near the -1100+

because I just can't see laying -1100 to win a $100 bucks ^<<^

yea, it's just hardwired for me to not go past -350 and even then, i get very nervous.

Unfortunately, that thinking has cost me some dog upsets that would've paid well. Not Rosol mind you, but I thought bartoli had a chance against henin in wimbledon years back and that paid very nicely. Didn't have the balls though.

Matches like that or just plain fixes...easy to manipulate because it's an individual sport, names like Davydenko or Daniel Koellerer come to mind ;-)

Use the ATP site and you can look at how each player matches up against another, kind of like handicapping pitchers in baseball. Many times you will see a player laying a big price to someone who they struggle against. I love betting on tennis.

im a tennis (teaching) pro in florida, and a pretty highly ranked nationally in the 30's. Tennis is the last sport I'd want to bet on. Just to many factors.

Wait for the Tennis Live and sometimes you can find some value and better lines.

the best statistics website is tennisinsight.com

then you use the atp world tour scoreboards to look at first serve % and points won, the returning % points won, but most importantly, 2nd serve % points won determines a lot of matches.

I faded Serina Williams about 3 or 4 years ago in one of the majors opening rounds.
The player I bet on (dont remember her name was +2600.
Had 50 on it.
My bet got up 2 sets to none and I was going crazy.
Then Serina came back and won.
I still think about that every once in a while.

Either this is a complete lie or you ate mistaking what happened. Women's tennis is only best 3 regardless of tournament.
