This is the most uncomfortable I've ever been...
Like half of the country, we are experencing record highs.....
Well Thursday night, we had a massive wind storm... Knocking out power to 2.5 people in Virginia alone....2 days later, 80% of customers in my city are without power.... massive trees and power lines wrapped them, just laying in the road, on peoples cars ect...
My sister works at 911 dispatch and multiple reports of trees falling on moving cars... The hospital has been working off generators for days now... half the city doesn't even have working stop lights, its all very surreal.
Anyways, today it is suppose to be 99degrees, but in a very Virginia like summer, the humdity is high, and will feel about 115 degrees today.
This is day 2 and it is expected to be another full week, 9 days total until power is completely restored.
I am staying at my mothers, who is luckily out of town, who has power, and even more impressively has internet, no one else i know has net...
