Could be there were behind through five innings and could not gain the lead anywhere along the way to the finish. Atlanta loves to get the early lead, hold onto it through the mid innings and bring in Kimbrel to seal the deal. Atlanta is not a great come from behind team. If you ever bet Atlanta you need them to get the early lead. If they get the first score, they usually play well, if not, they seem to hit into countless double plays that kill any momentum they may have created during in any one inning. Not trying to be snide about Braves, but just some observations I have made over the years.
